Type

Seeking the Pirate Hideout is a Side Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.

Overview

Seeking the Pirate Hideout takes place on Eventide Island, and can be both initiated and completed by talking to Sesami, who is at the north end of the island, immediately south of the Eventide Island Chasm. Link must clear out the three strongholds of Monster Forces on Eventide, then the pirate group in Eventide Island Cave

Requirements

  • Arrive at Eventide Island.

Walkthrough

  • Arrive at Eventide Island by using a raft. Just north of Cape Cales, on the seashore, there is a Fan, Steering Stick, and some Boards that Link can use to create a raft. Once Link arrives, he can speak with Sesami at the north end of the island to begin the quest.
  • The Monster Forces at Toronbo Beach North can be found just east of Sesami. This consists of four Blue Bokoblin and a Black Bokoblin, but stronger enemies can appear, depending on World Level. They are found on the vertical structure, with some Bokoblin on outer platforms. The archers on the side will shoot Ice Fruit towards Link, so the should be taken out first. At the top of the structure, there is a chest that contains 10 Bomb Flowers.
  • The Monster Forces at Toronbo Beach South can be found at the southwest end of the island. This base is surrounded by spikes with the lone entrance being where a Blue Bokoblin will roll a Spiked Iron Ball towards Link. The base itself has Blue Bokoblin, Black Bokoblin, and a Black Moblin. The archers here will shoot Fire Fruit towards Link. A treasure chest can be found in the area with 10 Arrows.
  • The Monster Forces at Koholit Rock can be found at the higher elevation, near the southeast end of the map. Here there are Blue Bokoblin, Black Bokoblin, and Blue Lizalfos. Some of the archers here will carry dangerous Shock Fruit.
  • After all three bases have been cleared, return to Sesami, who informs Link that he saw a Pirate Ship at the back of the island, where it then seamingly disappeared.
  • At the southeast end of the island, from the sea, Link will find the entrance to the Eventide Island Cave, where the fourth monster base can be found at the Pirate Hideout. Defeat the Blue Bokoblin and the Black Boss Bokoblin to clear the monsters.
  • Return to Sesami one last time to inform him that the monsters have been cleared and he'll reward Link with a Blue-Maned Lynel Saber Horn.
