Gerudo's Colossal Fossil is a Side Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.

Overview

After getting an eyeful of the Eldin Great Skeleton and Hebra Great Skeleton, Loone moves to the extreme south-west of the Gerudo Desert to see the Gerudo Great Skeleton.

When Link follows her there, she bets he might love them even more than she does, and points out the smaller skull lying near the big skeleton, speculating it might be the child of the leviathan and desperately wanting to see the body and tail rejoined to the head.

After Link finds the missing parts and sticks them back together, she gives him 50 rupees again, and claims she wants to "stay with this adorable leviathan fossil family forever!"

Requirements

Complete Hebra's Colossal Fossil, then follow Loone to the Gerudo Great Skeleton.

Care to do so?

Talk to Loone near the campfire, where she will give you the quest. You will need to find the location of the child levathian's body and tail and attach them to its head located near the mouth of the bigger levathian.

• The tail
  • It is stuck in a sand patch between the pond and the cliff ( -4929 -3802 -0058 )
  • You will need to blow away the sand to be able to lift up the tail with Ultrahand
  • There is a fan stuck in a sand patch nearby if need be ( -4910 -3834 -0058 )
• The body
  • It is located in bombable rocks above the bigger levathian's head ( -4917 -3795 -0016 )
  • Bomb the rocks with anything that can and retrieve the body of the small leviathan

Once you have collected the body parts, attach them with Ultrahand using the same blueprint as the bigger leviathan and go back to Loone, where she will give you a Purple Rupee.

Adventure Log

Step	Description
1	You met Loone near East Akkala Stable. She loves things that exude ancient mystique and is en route to see the fossil of a third extinct leviathan in the Gerudo region.
2	You went to the Gerudo Great Skeleton and discovered the skull of a baby leviathan next to its parent leviathan's fossil. Loone laments that it's incomplete and wants to see the parent and child leviathans side by side. She thinks that the child's tail and torso must be nearby...
Complete	You collected the pieces of the baby leviathan fossil and assembled it in its rightful place at the Gerudo Great Skeleton. Loone was overjoyed to see the mother and child leviathans side by side. Now that she's visited every leviathan fossil, Loone seems content at last.
