A Bottled Cry for Help is a Side Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.

Overview

Link finds a bottled message near Hateno Bay. The writer is trapped in a cave and needs help. Link can build a boat and follow the trail of Brightbloom Seeds and flowers to Mapla Point Cave. At the back of the cave he can free Chumin from being stuck behind a rock to receive a Silver Rupee.

Walkthrough

  • Head down to the shipwreck on the western tip of Hateno Bay. There is a message in a bottle in the shallows asking for help.
  • Use the nearby boards, big battery, fan, and a steering stick to create a boat.
  • Follow the trail of floating brightbloom flowers and seeds to Mapla Point Cave.
  • At the back of the cave the source of the water is blocked off by a rock. Use Ultrahand to remove it and find Chumin in the back of the cave.
  • He will be grateful for the rescue and reward you with a Silver Rupee.
