Find the Golden Horse
When Link arrives at the Snowfield Stable, he can speak with Harlow and Penn to begin the quest. Link must go north from the Snowfield Stable, past the Frost Gleeok, to the North Tabantha Snowfield where the horse is located. Then, he must tame the horse, ride it back to the stable, and speak to Harlow to complete the quest.
After activating the Potential Princess Sightings! Side Adventure at the Lucky Clover Gazette, Link will speak with Penn and Harlow at the Snowfield Stable. Harlow tells them that a Golden Horse that Zelda left in their care has run off.
- While not required, if Link has completed the Camera Work in the Depths quest, he can take a photograph of the Golden Horse, and register it in the Hyrule Compendium before visiting the Lucky Clover Gazette, while it is still stabled normally at Snowfield Stable. After having done this, and subsequently completing Presenting: Sensor +!, Link can use Sensor + to help track the horse during the quest, as the Golden Horse has its own Compendium entry.
|Penn's research at Snowfield Stable turned up a story about Princess Zelda's golden horse, which has a mane braided with honeycomb plaits. It was being kept there but ran off somewhere to the north. Harlow can't go look for the horse, given that a huge monster is apparently in the snow fields.|
|You found the golden horse, and Harlow was beside herself when you returned the gentle creature to the stable. She asked you to take the horse, as it already seems attached to you. Penn flew off to write the whole story up for the newspaper.|
