Type

A Picture for Snowfield Stable is a Side Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.

Overview

Varke wants to hang a painting of the giant bird with outstretched wings in the Hebra Mountains in Snowfield Stable. This is really an optical illusion when viewing Biron Snowshelf from Talonto Peak. Link can take a picture of the scenery and return to the stable for a reward of a Pony Point and Spicy Meat Stew.

Requirements

Obtain the camera from Camera Work in the Depths. You will need some kind of Cold Resistance, such as the Snowquill Set or a Spicy Elixir.

Walkthrough

  • Examine the empty picture frame in Snowfield Stable to start the quest.
  • Travel to Talonto Peak. Paragliding down from Mayaumekis Shrine is a fast route. You will need Cold Resistance of some kind.
  • Take a photo of the landscape to the north-west of the peak. The camera will give a red notification when the "bird" is in view. The weather does need to be clear for this.
  • Return to the stable to hand over the photo and receive your reward of a Pony Point and some Spicy Meat Stew.

Step Description
1
Varke, the owner of Snowfield Stable, wants to hang up a painting of "the giant bird with wings stretched wide" in the Hebra Mountains. It's said this bird can be seen when looking northwest from the lone cedar tree on Talonto Peak when it isn't snowing. Maybe there's a way to take a picture of it and show it to Varke.
2
Varke, owner of Snowfield Stable, is pleased to have hung up a painting of "the giant bird with wings stretched wide," which can be seen in the Hebra Mountains when it's not snowing.

He was going to give you a reward, but your inventory was full. Be sure to trim your belongings before you accept his gift.
