Type

Eldin's Colossal Fossil is a Side Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.

Overview

If Link talks to Loone at East Akkala Stable, she will introduce herself as someone interested in "ancient things". Having struck out at the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab, taken over by the Yiga Clan, she's heard about the three Leviathan fossils around Hyrule and wants the thrill of seeing them. She tells him she's going to see the Eldin Great Skeleton first, and marks it on Link's map so he can visit it too, before heading off.

At the Eldin Great Skeleton itself, Link finds Loone again, who is sad that only one of the Leviathan's fossilised eyes remains in its skull. When Link finds it and uses Ultrahand to return it to its spot in the left eye socket, she is overjoyed, and pays him 50 rupees as thanks. Having seen the Eldin Great Skeleton, she then gets excited about seeing the Hebra Great Skeleton. After marking it on Link's map, she heads off to the Hebra Mountains.

Requirements

Speak to Loone at East Akkala Stable, then follow her to the Eldin Great Skeleton.

Step Description
1
You met Loone near East Akkala Stable. A lover of all things ancient and their inherent adventurous qualities, she's on her way to see the fossil of an extinct leviathan in Eldin.
2
You went to the Eldin Great Skeleton only to discover that one of the leviathan's eyeballs was missing.
Loone is forlorn, wishing she could see the leviathan with both eyes intact.
Complete
You restored the Eldin Great Skeleton's missing eyeball, and Loone couldn't have been happier. After gazing at your handiwork for a while, Loone told you that her next stop is the leviathan fossil in Hebra.
