Side Adventures are a longer variant of Side Quests introduced in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. They have no bearing on the main story or campaign of the game.
Like Side Quests, they are most commonly found by interacting with NPCs, but can sometimes be found scattered around the landscape. Side Adventures can require other Adventures or Side Quests to be completed before they can be obtained, and will usually reward Link with items, information, or other rewards upon completion.
The primary distinction between Side Adventures and Side Quests seems to be the amount of world traversal needed for its completion; tasks involving multiple faraway locations or an ongoing side story fall into the category of Side Adventures, while shorter quests involving a specific area are Side Quests.
Tears of the Kingdom
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom contains 60 Side Adventures in addition to its Side Quests, located across the Surface and the Sky and sometimes bringing Link as far as the Depths.
