Boss is a term referring to a more difficult enemy at the end of a Dungeon or temple in The Legend of Zelda series. In most games, Link requires a special item found in the dungeon in order to defeat them.
The term "final boss" is the last boss of the game and is usually the head "bad guy". Ganon is a prime example of this. Below is a list of all bosses from each game.
