Manhandla is an enemy that is encountered in Four Swords Adventures. It first appears as the boss of The Coast.[1] Manhandla can be found later at the Frozen Hyrule and Realm of the Heavens stages.

Strategy

Like previous versions of the boss, Manhandla has four claws and spins around the room.[1] However, each claw is a different color, so the Links need to hit each claw with the Link that is the same color.[2] The only item the colored Link can use to harm the claw is the Four Sword, but only one swipe from the sword is needed to harm them. As each claw gets hit, Manhandla moves faster and faster, so the Links should be careful and move quickly.[3] Also, they need to be careful about switching between Links due to the possibility of Manhandla being on top of one of them.[4]

If a Link strikes one of the claws that aren't his color, the hurt head does not become destroyed, but instead the heads that Link had previously hit regenerate.[5] Manhandla then proceeds to shoot a fireball out of the other three claws, dealing half a heart of damage. After the Links have destroyed all four claws, Manhandla is defeated and leaves behind Force Gems.
