The Hyrule Compendium is a feature found in Breath of the Wild. It lists various Creatures, Monsters, Materials, Equipment and Treasure encountered by Link during his travels through the various regions of Hyrule.
Information is added to the compendium by taking pictures with the Sheikah Slate Camera of various items once the Camera (Rune) has been unlocked. Most pictures can also be bought in Hateno Ancient Tech Lab for 100 Rupees each after the Sunshroom Sensing quest has been completed. Once added to the compendium, any item can be set to the Sheikah Sensor+, allowing Link to track its location.
