"Wooden branches such as this are pretty common, but it's surprisingly well-balanced. It doesn't do much damage, but can serve as a weapon in a pinch."

— In-Game Description[1]

The Tree Branch is a type of weapon found in Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity, and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

Tree Branches are the most rudimentary weapons in the game and can be found lying on the ground across the Great Plateau, and later, across all of Hyrule itself. Link can use these Branches to attack enemies; conversely, they can also be used be enemies to attack Link. However, a tree branch is one of the weakest weapons in the game; they do very little damage, with a base power of 2, and break easily owing to their base durability of 4. They are the first weapons made available to Link in the game, being easily found in front of the Shrine of Resurrection.

Tree Branches can also be obtained by cutting young tree sprouts or as a drop after cutting a larger tree. When cutting trees, these can also yield Korok Leaves. Unlike said Korok Leaves, Tree Branches cannot be obtained from palm trees.

While they will burn up quickly, they can be used as a makeshift torch while aflame to light campfires or burn other nearby objects.

Due to their abundance, they can prove to be somewhat of a minor nuisance by occupying valuable inventory weapon slots later in the game.

Age of Calamity

Tree Branches are a weapon type available only to Link, used with his One-Handed Weapon moveset.

Tears of the Kingdom

This section is a stub. You can help the Zelda Dungeon Wiki by expanding it.

In Tears of the Kingdom, Tree Branches first appear on the Great Sky Island and are non-durable weapons that will break easily when used. They can be seen used by enemies, including enemy Constructs.
