The Strong Zonaite Shield is a shield found in Tears of the Kingdom.

"A shield used by Zonai and made of zonaite. It is moderately durable and lowers the energy consumption of an attached Zonai device."
The Strong Zonaite Shield is a shield that can be found in Tears of the Kingdom. The shield can be obtained from some Soldier Constructs, or from chests in Shrines. It is an improved version of the Zonaite Shield, with a shield guard that is 15 higher. Like other Zonai shields, it has the ability to lower energy consumption when another Zonai device is attached, more so than the weaker Zonaite Shield but less than the stronger Mighty Zonaite Shield.
Strong Zonaite Shields which are not affected by World Level, and so can be photographed for the Hyrule Compendium even in late-game, can be found in all three surface labyrinths:
- In the North Lomei Labyrinth at (-0793, 3560, 0234), inside a large chunk of ice which must be melted to obtain the shield
- In the South Lomei Labyrinth at (-1761, 3529, 0071), under a mound of sand which must be blown away to obtain the shield
- There are two on the Lomei Labyrinth Island:
- At (4557, 3674, 0090) beside a Strong Zonaite Sword and a Strong Construct Bow which, unlike the sword and shield, does scale to a Mighty Construct Bow.
- At (4671, 3729, 0100) beside a Strong Zonaite Sword. This is inside a hidden passage accessed from (4676, 3686, 0090), the entrance to which is gloom-covered.
A non-scaling Strong Zonaite Shield is also the final reward for The Duchess Who Disappeared Side Quest.
