The Drenan Highlands are a location found in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

The highlands are located at the northern part of Hyrule, just northwest of the Great Hyrule Forest. The area is patrolled by a dangerous White-Maned Lynel who wields a Savage Lynel Spear and Savage Lynel Bow with Shock Arrows.

The dragon Dinraal will regularly appear near the Drenan Highlands, riding down from the northeast. He'll pass right by the highlands as it makes its way to the Tanagar Canyon. However, despite Dinraal flying very low to the ground, this is not a good place to be farming Dinraal parts, as they often will drop into the abyss, just north and west of the highlands.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Drenan Highlands are located directly west of the Thyphlo Ruins and just northwest of the Drenan Highlands Chasm. Along with the Deplian Badlands, they make up much of the northern border of Hyrule.

On the east side of the pathway, there are some boulders up against the wall. Link can break these boulders to find a chest containing a Knight's Broadsword.

Along the path, Addison can be found holding up a Hudson Sign. Link can use the nearby Lumber to hold up the sign. As a reward, Addison will give Link a Red Rupee, some Meaty Rice Balls, and a Muddle Bud.

Korok Seeds

  • Just west of the path, there is an area with some higher elevations. A Korok can be found here and he wants to get reunited with his friend. Carry him eastward, almost to the bridge by the Thyphlo Ruins to get a pair of Korok Seeds.
  • Just northwest of the Hudson Sign, on the hill, there is a circle of rocks. Place the missing rock to finish the circle and get the Korok Seed.
