Castle Town Prison
Breath of the Wild
The Castle Town Prison is located on Hyrule Castle West island, which as its name suggests, is located just west of Hyrule Castle. The area is patrolled by an enemy Guardian Stalker, as well as a Guardian Skywatcher. Throughout the ruins of the prison there are some rusty weapons lying on the ground, including a Rusty Broadsword, a Rusty Claymore, and a Rusty Shield. The Rusty Shield can be used in the center of the region as there are three small statues with two of them having rusty shields in the offering plate. Drop a rusty shield in the third one to get a Korok Seed.
At the southeast end of the prison on top of the wall, there is a treasure chest that has an Ancient Arrow. At the northeast corner of the ruins on top of the wall, there is a chest with a Knight's Bow. At the far north end of the prison, along the main path, there is a Raft that can be used to navigate the Hyrule Castle Moat. Just south of the moat there is a block puzzle where Link can get another Korok.
EX Treasure: Fairy Clothes
- Main article: EX Treasure: Fairy Clothes
As part of the EX Treasure: Fairy Clothes side quest, Link can find Tingle's Shirt within the ruins of the Castle Town Prison. This chest only appears if The Master Trials DLC is loaded into the game file. Misko's EX Journal will point Link to ruins where sinners were imprisoned. The actual treasure chest is located right in the center of the ruins, just south of where the three statues are located. Use Magnesis to pull up the chest and get the armor.
Nearby Korok Seeds
Stand on the stump and shoot the acorn flying above the tree.
Place a third Rusty Shield in the offering bowl. One is available to the southeast near the ruins of the wall. Use Magnesis to place it with precision, if needed.
