"In the center of the desert lies Gerudo Town, the largest trading town in all of Hyrule. Only vai (women) are permitted to enter, and the majority of the residents are Gerudo women. There are many facilities unique to this town, including a bar and a classroom devoted to teaching relationship classes. There is also a training ground in the royal palace where Gerudo soldiers train."

Gerudo Town is a location found in Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity, and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

Gerudo Town is located roughly in the center of Gerudo Desert, which is in the southwestern part of Hyrule. The town is home to the Gerudo, an all-female race led by Makeela Riju. Since only women ("Vai" in the Gerudo dialect) may enter Gerudo Town, Link must be dressed as a vai in order to enter; this is accomplished by completing the Forbidden City Entry main quest.

Gerudo Town amenities include Hotel Oasis (a hotel and spa), Fashion Passion (a clothing store), Starlight Memories (a jewelry store), along with several smaller shops that sell cooking materials, food, and arrows. (A lucky visitor may gain entrance to the Gerudo Secret Club if they know the password.) Sand Seals may also be rented for travel across the Gerudo Desert.

A Goddess Statue is located in the southeastern outer area of Gerudo Town, just past the entrance to the Gerudo Secret Club. Two unlit Cooking Pots can be found in the southern corner of the Gerudo Town square, to the left of the stairs leading up to Chief Riju's hall. Palm Fruit can be collected from the palm trees growing in the square, and Wildberries can be picked once Link has completed The Mystery Polluter side quest.

It is one of Breath of the Wild's most populated towns, with over 4 dozen permanent residents. This is most likely due to the fact that the Gerudo Desert was mostly spared of Guardian attacks during The Great Calamity. Because of the high population, alongside several shops, there is a bar on the southeast side, 24/7 training area where Gerudo soldiers learn to fight, and even a class called "Voe and You" taught by Ashai in the west corner of town, next to the Barracks.
