"Faron stretches a great distance from east to west and occupies the southeastern corner of Hyrule. Its southern border is the sandy beach that extends along the coast of the Faron Sea, while the inland, northern portion is a large, thick jungle full of massive trees. The area is subtropical, so rainstorms are common. Lurelin Village is a tiny fishing community on the coast and the only permanent settlement in the entire province, though there is a stable in the Fural Plain near the Faron Grasslands. There is an obstacle course for horses near the stable where riders compete and showcase their riding prowess."
Faron is a province found in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
It is split into 3 subregions: Faron Grasslands, West Necluda, and East Necluda. Its neighboring provinces are Gerudo to the west, Central Hyrule to the northwest, and Necluda to the east and northeast. It is characterized by its unique waterfalls and tropical climate. Lurelin Village lies on the Gogobi Shores in the east, a small, self-sustained fishing community that managed to survive the Great Calamity. Further southeast, Eventide Island lies out in the middle of the Necluda Sea, where a trial awaits Link.
