Teake, also known as Captain Teake, is a character in Breath of the Wild.

Breath of the Wild

Teake is the captain of the Gerudo guards and can be found in the Barracks of Gerudo Town. Early on, Teake will yell at Link if he comes into the Barracks. Since the theft of the Thunder Helm, the Gerudo Guards are on high alert and the barracks is no place for tourists.[1][2][3]

However, after Link speaks with Riju and Buliara, they encourage him to speak with Teake in the barracks next door. Teake is initially resistant to Link's help, but after hearing that Buliara has sent him, he welcomes the help. Teake knows that the Yiga Clan Hideout is somewhere in the Karusa Valley, but all the soldiers are a bit exhausted at the moment.[4] Teake will tell all the soldiers in the Barracks that Link has offered to help out and that they should share any information with him.[5][6][7] Speaking with Teake will advance the Divine Beast Vah Naboris Main Quest.

  4. What? Buliara sent you? My apologies! I'm the officer in charge of the soldiers, Captain Teake. The chief's heirloom was stolen by thieves belonging to the Yiga Clan the other day, so everyone is on edge... We've determined that the Yiga's hideout is in Karusa Valley, but... The soldiers are all exhausted, so I was thinking about requesting some extra help... - Teake

  7. This should be something we take care of on our own, but the soldiers are just so exhausted... We know the Yiga Clan hideout is in Karusa Valley, but we can't find a way to get in... Your help in this matter is more than welcome. Please talk with the other soldiers if you have time. - Teake
