Gatepost Town Ruins is a location in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

The Gatepost Town Ruins are located just north of the Great Plateau, immediately northeast of the Oman Au Shrine. The area was once a nice up-and-coming place with a lot of folks moving in. However, once monsters appeared, they drove everybody off and all that is left is some ruins.[1]

Link will encounter two treasure hunters, Mina and Mils, who are scavenging the ruins for any remaining treasure from the citizens that once lived there. The two will get attacked by some Red Bokoblin and if Link saves them, they will reward him with a meal.

Throughout the ruins there are numerous items that Link can find that are stuck in the ground, including a Rusty Claymore, Rusty Broadsword, and a Rusty Halberd.

A treasure chest can be found inside the building at the south end, containing an Emblazoned Shield. A second treasure chest can be found in the pond just west of the ruins and it contains an Opal gem. There are also some Hyrule Bass and Staminoka Bass that are found here.
