The Deplian Badlands South are a location found in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

Deplian Badlands South is an unnamed location in Breath of the Wild, but encompasses the area just northeast of the Thyphlo Ruins.

Tears of the Kingdom

In Tears of the Kingdom the located is named as the Deplian Badlands South, located northeast of the Theyphlo Ruins and south of the Deplian Badlands and East Deplian Badlands. A large Black Hinox can be found sleeping the area. There is not much in the form of vegetation in the area. A number of Spiny Bones can be found in the ground, which Link can use to Fuse weapons with.

At the south of the badlands, south of the main path, there are a trio of Stone Pebblits. At the bottom of the cliff, there are some boulders Link can crush with a weapon, revealing a treasure chest that holds a Cobble Crusher.

Just south of the Geoglyph, there is an enemy camp with several Bokoblin, Blue Bokoblin, and a Boss Bokoblin. There is a treasure chest here containing a Spiked-Iron-Ball Hammer.

Sikukuu Shrine

Main article: Sikukuu Shrine

The Sikukuu Shrine can be found at the south end of the region. Titled Spinning Gears, the shrine requires Link to use Ultrahand and Recall to shift gears around and reach the altar.

Korok Seeds

  • On top of the large, dead tree, next to the Black Hinox, there is a rock. Lift it to get the Korok Seed.
  • There is a small rock on the Geoglyph well south of the main path on the higher hill. Lift the small rock to get the Korok Seed.
