Mesa is a young man living on Outset Island in The Wind Waker.
Overview
Mesa spends all day cutting the grass in front of his house. However, the grass seems to grow rapidly, so he is perpetually cutting it.[1] Early in the game, Mesa will wish Link a happy birthday, citing how time just seems to pass by so quickly.
After the monsters come to Outset Island, his sleeping schedule gets messed up, and he sleeps during the day and is awake at night. He dresses in orange and is the only villager to live on the western side of the island. There is also a secret room in his house that leads through a tunnel to twenty Rupees.
