North Tabantha Snowfield
North Tabantha Snowfield is a location in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
Breath of the Wild
The North Tabantha Snowfield is located within the Tabantha Tundra, north of the Snowfield Stable. As with most the region, the temperature is bitterly cold and Link will need to wear armor with Cold Resistance, such as the Snowquill Set, allowing Link to survive in the harsh conditions.
The north end of the region is exceptionally dangerous as there are three White-Maned Lynels in the area. These areas are best avoided unless Link is well powered up with significantly stronger weapons and armor.
There are two enemy camps where the North and South Tabantha Snowfields meet. One of the camps has numerous Black Bokoblin riding horses. During the evening hours there are some Stalkoblin that are riding Stalhorses. There is no treasure in the southern skull base, but just some enemy Ice Keese. At the north enemy base there is a treasure chest buried in the ground and it contains a Kite Shield.
At the far northwest end of the snowfield there is a large hill and just to the west, a smaller hill. A treasure chest is found at the peak of the small hill and it contains a Forest Dweller's Bow.
Sha Gehma Shrine

At the far north end of the snowfield, the Sha Gehma Shrine can be found. The shrine will require Link to use Magnesis to grab the metal block and launch it up in the air. Link can then use Stasis to stop the block, allowing him to open the treasure chest with a Small Key before the block crashes down. Then he can run over and meet with Sha Gehma at the alter to get the Korok Seed.

Tears of the Kingdom
The North Tabantha Snowfield can be found just east of the Hebra Mountains and north of the Snowfield Stable. It is a snowy, wide open plain with a giant Geoglyph covering much of the region. The snowfield is very cold, requiring Link to have a level of Cold Resistance in order to survive. Early on in the quest, the Blizzard that is effecting Rito Village is also ravaging the snowfield, causing perpetual snowfall.
At the southeast end of the area, Addison can be found holding up a Hudson Sign. Link can use the nearby boards to hold up the sign. Addison will reward Link with a Red Rupee, some Biting Meaty Rice Balls, and a Muddle Bud.
At the east end of the snowfield, there is an enemy camp with a pair of flying Aerocudas. The entrance to the base is blocked off by ice blocks, with the remaining area surrounded by some spikes. Glide in from the Zonai Ruins or melt the blocks to get further up and fight the Blue Bokoblin. A chest can be found at the top of the base that has a Sapphire gem.
Oshozan-u Shrine

The Oshozan-u Shrine can be found at the northeast end of the snowfield on top of a plateau.
Just to the northeast of the shrine itself, inside of an ice block, there is a treasure chest that holds a Strong Zonaite Shield.
Korok Seeds
- At the far northwest end of the snowfield, pickup the rock on the small hill to get the Korok Seed.
- Just north of the Geoglyph, there is a group of trees. Catch the fairy lights to get the Korok Seed.
- Lift the lone rock found in the center of the Geoglyph to get the Korok Seed.
- East of the Oshozan-u Shrine and north of Mount Drena, on the lower cliffside, there is a block puzzle. Place the missing piece on the side of the block puzzle to get the Korok Seed.
- Just southeast of the Oshozan-u Shrine, a Korok is trying to reunite with his friend. Carry him will to the east, near the entrance to the North Lomei Labyrinth to get a pair of Korok Seeds.
