Link must avoid it so that he doesn't get injured. Link can simply avoid these attacks if he dons the [[Goron Mask]] and uses the advantage of rolling. After Link stuns Igos, he can reflect the light with his [[Mirror Shield]] and after being exposed to a large amount of sun light, the former King of Ikana succumbs to defeat. Igos du Ikana is the king of Ikana Kingdom and mini-boss residing in the Ancient Castle of Ikana in Majora's Mask.
When Link first encounters him, he briefly speaks to Link, and awaits on his throne while his Lackeys fight him. After Link defeats his two subordinates, Igos stands up and fights Link himself.
