The Mask of Truth is a Mask from Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. It is used primarily for reading Gossip Stones, which can only be read if the reader is wearing the mask. It is unknown if there is more than one of these masks, but it is likely that there is, because the man in the Swamp Spider House couldn't have gotten the mask that Link had before in Ocarina of Time.

Ocarina of Time
The Mask of Truth can be borrowed from the Happy Mask Shop in Hyrule Castle Town Market after completing the Happy Mask Side Quest.
