The Goron Mask is a Mask from Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Cadence of Hyrule. It does not have much of a purpose in Ocarina of Time, but it is a useful and required item in Majora's Mask.
Ocarina of Time
In Ocarina of Time, Link can borrow the Goron Mask from the Happy Mask Shop after he has completed the Happy Mask Side Quest. This does not turn him into a Goron, but only lets him wear the mask. The only use of the Goron Mask is to get humorous reactions from people.
Majora's Mask
The spirit of Darmani resides within the Goron Mask. If Link wears it, he will turn into Goron Link. Goron Link uses a set of drums instead of the Ocarina of Time. Link also does not use his sword. Instead, Link uses his fists to attack his enemies. When Link crouches, he can either quickly roll around, and if he has Magic Power, he will roll faster when spikes appear, and if he jumps, he will do a Goron Pound.
Non-Canon Appearances
This section describes a subject that is or may be outside the core Zelda canon. |
Cadence of Hyrule
In Cadence of Hyrule, the Goron Mask is a weapon that only Skull Kid can use. It can be found in the remains of the Gerudo Ruins in the Future World. When used, the Goron Mask gives Skull Kid immunity to lava and uses Stamina to roll forwards with damage immunity. The Goron Mask uses a Flail to attack.
