Blue Bubbles are a variant of Bubbles in The Legend of Zelda series.[1] Their main ability is to curse their enemy and usually can only be defeated once their blue flame has been extinguished.
The Legend of Zelda
Along with Red Bubbles, Blue Bubbles appear exclusively in the Second Quest of The Legend of Zelda. Found in various dungeons, they appear alongside their Red Bubble counterparts. When encountered by themselves, there are virtually no difference, other than color, compared to their regular Bubble counterparts. However, if Link comes into contact with a Red Bubble, he will lose his ability to use his sword. This ability won't return in a few moments, but instead, it will remain until Link finds a Blue Bubble and touches one.
