Bokoblin Guts are a material found in Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity, and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

"A rare material obtained by defeating a Bokoblin. It convulses on its own every now and then, which is really creepy, but perhaps it has a use."

— In-game description

Bokoblin Guts can be obtained as an uncommon drop by defeating higher ranked Bokoblin. It can be traded with Kilton at his shop, the Fang and Bone, for 10 Mon each.

Bokoblin Guts are used to upgrade the Hylian Set of armor, including the Hylian Hood, Hylian Tunic, and Hylian Trousers. To upgrade each item, you need × 5 for ★★★ upgrades, and 15 for ★★★★ upgrades. To completely upgrade all armor pieces in the Hylian Set will need a total of 60 Bokoblin Guts.

Standard red Bokoblin will not drop Bokoblin Guts. They can only be acquired from Blue Bokoblin, Black Bokoblin, Silver Bokoblin, or Golden Bokoblin. While these Bokoblin are not quite as abundant as their orange counterparts they are still plentiful across Hyrule. Bokoblin Guts are often found alongside Bokoblin Horn and Bokoblin Fang.

Cooking

Like other monster parts, Bokoblin Guts can be cooked with Bugs, Frogs, or Lizards, to create Elixirs. If Link adds Bokoblin Guts to a dish with regular food, or if the pot only contains monster parts, this will result in Link making Dubious Food.

Nine (three per piece) are required to upgrade the Hylian Set to ★★★, and another 15 (five per piece) for ★★★; nine (three per piece) more to upgrade the Soldier's Set to ★; three (one per piece) to upgrade the Radiant Set to ★; and nine (three per piece) to upgrade the Royal Guard Set to ★. In total, for one copy of every relevant armour piece to be upgraded to ★★★★ requires 45 Bokoblin Guts.
