Brightcap is a type of mushroom and material found in Tears of the Kingdom.

"A mushroom that grows in caves and contains luminescent enzymes. Cook it into a dish to give a glowing effect to anyone who eats it."

Brightcaps can be found in caves around Hyrule. This mushroom will restore ½ of a heart when eaten raw. It can be cooked into a Bright Mushroom Skewer, which restores one heart and grants a glowing effect. It can also be cooked over an open flame for a Toasty Brightcap, with restores ¾ heart.
