Hearty Radish is a type of plant and material found in Breath of the Wild and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Breath of the Wild

"A rare radish that grows best in sunny plains. Cook it before eating to temporarily increase your maximum hearts."

— In-game description

Hearty Radishs are uncommon in nature, but are typically found in areas of dense grass or forest, such as Deep Akkala. If eaten raw, this material will restore 2½ hearts, and can be cooked on an open flame to obtain a Roasted Radish, which will restore slightly more. Their main effect, however, is in Recipes, where a single Hearty Radish in a lit Cooking Pot will create Hearty Fried Wild Greens which fully recovers Link's Heart Containers, and adds a minimum of 3 Temporary Hearts in addition. Adding more Hearty items will further increase the number of Temporary Hearts.

Alternatively, they can be sold to shop-vendors all over Hyrule for 8 Rupees each.

Age of Calamity

"A rare radish that grows best in sunny plains. Eating them has been known to improve one's health."

— In-game description
