Link's Mother is a character from the backstory of Ocarina of Time. One day, she escaped from the creatures and fire of the abysmal Hyrulean Civil War to the Forbidden Forest.[1] She was gravely injured, and entrusted her baby boy to the guardian of the forest, the Great Deku Tree, before she passed away.[1] The Great Deku Tree sensed that Link was a child of great destiny, and was raised as a Kokiri.[1]
