Big Hearty Radish is a type of plant and material found in Breath of the Wild and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.
Breath of the Wild
"This hearty radish has grown much larger than the average radish. It's rich in analeptic compounds that, when cooked into a dish, temporarily increase your maximum hearts."
Big Hearty Radish are a fairly rare find, but are typically found in areas of dense grass or forest, such as Deep Akkala.
If eaten raw, this material will restore 4 hearts, and can be cooked on an open flame to obtain a Roasted Big Radish, which will restore slightly more.Their main effect, however, is in Recipes, where a single Big Hearty Truffle will create Hearty Fried Wild Greens which fully recover Link's Heart Container, and add a minimum of 5 Temporary Hearts in addition, the most from any single Hearty item. Adding more Hearty items will further increase the number of Temporary Hearts.
Alternatively, they can be sold to shop-vendors all over Hyrule for 15 Rupees each.
Age of Calamity
"This hearty radish has grown much larger than the average radish. It's rich in analeptic compounds that provide incredible healing properties."
