Coro is the first member of the family of three that Link encounters in Twilight Princess in Faron Woods, whose sisters' names are Iza and Hena (who also run businesses somewhere in Hyrule). He has a large afro, which he lets birds nest in. He gave Link his free lantern and sells lantern oil. He spends most of his days in front of a pot filled with lantern oil in it. His pet bird, Trill, watches another shop farther into Faron Woods. If Link steals from Trill's shop, Coro gets mad at Trill for allowing it. Coro is considered the "lazy," "worthless" lousy fisher in his family by his sisters, and doesn't have that much respect. However, his sisters might joke around just because he's family. Nonetheless, he is still considerably nice to Link. He is also one of the few people who aren't afraid of Link when he's a wolf, claiming that his sister is scarier than him.

Coro is a character from Twilight Princess. He has a large afro, which he lets birds nest in. He is one of many Humans that Link encounters in the game. However, it is unknown if Coro is a part of any particular village. His house is located just outside of the Ordona Province in Faron Woods, where he runs his Lantern Shop.

Story

Coro is encountered early on in Twilight Princess. During the prologue when Link sets out to rescue Talo, Coro is found sitting just outside of his home in the Faron Woods. He gives Link a free Lantern, claiming that it is a "business tactic," since now Link has to buy Lantern Oil from him.[citation needed] The Lantern allows Link to see in the dark caves he must traverse in order to reach Talo. The Lantern continues to be an important item throughout Link's adventure, and is required for his upcoming foray into the Forest Temple. To refill the Lantern, Link can return to Coro to do so. However, there are alternative sources of oil in other parts of Hyrule.

Family

Coro has two sisters, Iza and Hena. They operate attractions in the Lanayru Province: Iza runs the Boat Rental Cabin and Hena runs the Fishing Hole. Coro's sisters view him contemptibly, with Hena remarking that he is a "lousy" fisherman.[citation needed] Coro and Iza are some of the few characters to not fear Link while he is in wolf form. Coro also has a pet bird named Trill, who is the proprietor of Trill's Shop. Trill also sells Lantern Oil as well as Red Potion. The shop is located in the northern portion of Faron Woods, near the entrance to the Forest Temple. If Link steals from Trill's Shop, Coro gets angry at Trill for allowing it to happen.[citation needed]
