Gengle is Jovani's cat from Twilight Princess.[1] He is the leader of all the cats who can be found along the Castle Town South Road.[3][4] At first, Gengle can be found inside his master's home in Castle Town, frozen solid on top of Jovani's head.[1]

Once Link has collected 20 Poe Souls and brought them to Jovani, Gengle is completely revived from his solid state. He remains inside the home, and tells Wolf Link that he owes him a huge favour for helping his master.[5] Furthermore, once Link has collected all 60 Poe Souls, Jovani is fully revived, and hurries to go tell his girlfriend he is back.[6] This leaves Gengle alone in the home. Link can come back at any time and talk to Gengle, who gives Link unlimited Silver Rupees,[7] which are worth 200 Rupees.[8]
