The Fairy Ocarina is the first Ocarina that Link receives in Ocarina of Time. Saria gives it to Link when he tells her that he has to depart from their home, Kokiri Forest. It is used during the first three dungeons of the game. Afterwards, Link uses the Ocarina of Time he receives from Princess Zelda.
Saria also has another Fairy Ocarina, which she can be found playing in the Sacred Forest Meadow after she gives her original one to Link.
Songs
Link may only play songs which he can obtain before getting the Ocarina of Time using the Fairy Ocarina. These are Zelda's Lullaby, Epona's Song, Saria's Song, and the Sun's Song.
