Breath of the Wild

"The severed horn of a Bokoblin, a creature often encountered on the plains of Hyrule. It isn't edible, but it can be tossed into a stew with some critters to make an elixir."

— In-game description

A Bokoblin Horn is dropped by all Bokoblins in the game, often dropping multiple at any given time. It can be traded with Kilton at his shop, the Fang and Bone, for 3 Mon each.

Bokoblin Horns are used to upgrade the Hylian Set of armor, including the Hylian Hood, Hylian Tunic, and Hylian Trousers.

To upgrade each item, you need x5 for Tier One upgrades, and x8 for Tier Two upgrades. To completely upgrade all armor pieces in the Hylian Armor set you will need a total of x39 Bokoblin Horns.

As Bokoblin are abundant throughout Hyrule, the Bokoblin Horn is one of the most common collectibles that Link will acquire. They are very often found alongside Bokoblin Fangs, and occasionally found alongside Bokoblin Guts. Link can easily acquire a Bokoblin Horn by defeating a Stalkoblin at nighttime.

Cooking

Like other monster parts, Bokoblin Horns can be cooked with Bugs, Frogs, or Lizards, to create Elixirs. The Bokoblin Horn doesn't add anything of substance while cooking, but is required to make the Elixir. If Link adds a Bokoblin Horn to a dish with regular food, or if the pot only contains monster parts, this will result in Link making Dubious Food.

Age of Calamity

"The severed horn of a Bokoblin, a creature often encountered on the plains of Hyrule. The horn isn't edible."
