"The highest point in all of Hyrule is an active volcano. It is even hotter than Eldin Canyon. The most precious ore in the area is found around the summit, so you would usually find Gorons mining there, but when Vah Rudania began to rampage they could no longer approach it."

Creating a Champion, page 302

Death Mountain is a location found in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

It is a highly-active volcano, where the Divine Beast Vah Rudania sits, and is surrounded by the Death Caldera lava lake. The only ways to reach the mountain are either through the air, or over the Bridge of Eldin. No shrines are located here, but the closest is Daqa Koh Shrine.

Landmarks

None, except for Divine Beast Vah Rudania, which also serves as the closest Travel Gate once entered.

Tears of the Kingdom

This Tears of the Kingdom section is a stub. You can help the Zelda Dungeon Wiki by expanding it.

The eruptions have stopped and Death Mountain has cooled. However, the Death Mountain Chasm has formed through the centre of Death Mountain, and spews gloom until Moragia emerges and is defeated by Link and Yunobo. After this, while gloom is still present, it merely clings to the interior walls as wtih most other chasms.
