Chickaloo Tree Nut is a material found in Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity, and Tears of the Kingdom.
Breath of the Wild
"Small birds love this nut. You can eat it raw for a minor effect, but it can also be added as a spice to other recipes."
Chickaloo Tree Nuts are occasionally found scattered across the various plains and forests of Hyrule, and a small cluster in particular can be found in the Zora's Domain, with Acorns being considerably more common. Squirrels and sparrows may drop them if Link kills them. They can be sold to shop-vendors all over Hyrule for 3 Rupees each. This item restores ¼ of a heart if eaten raw, but if cooked on an open flame, Link will obtain a Roasted Tree Nut, which will ½ heart. Chickaloo Tree Nuts can be used in a variety of Recipes, but they have no special cooking effects.

"Small birds love this nut. It can be eaten raw and on its own, but it's also an excellent addition to other recipes."
