The Veteran Thief is a character from A Link Between Worlds. He is the Lorulean counterpart of the Customer. He lives in the house west of the Fortune's Choice building in Thieves' Town.[1] When Link talks to the Veteran Thief, he sings lyrics about the thief's life choosing him and how it sets him back to thieving.[2][1] After noticing Link, he apologizes for singing out loud and explains that Link wouldn't know the song because it is an old tune.[3] Afterwards, he asks Link what he thinks of his house, concluding that the house is a little too rough for him.[4] Nevertheless, the Veteran Thief does not mind it and explains that the town still has a strong musical culture in which is a tradition for them.[5]
