Hearty Bass is a type of fish and material found in Breath of the Wild and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Hearty Bass can typically be found in bodies of water, though they are most common in West Necluda and in the Akkala Highlands. This fish will restore two hearts when eaten raw, though the amount restored can be increased if Link decides to cook it. Their main effecy is in Recipes, where a single Hearty Bass will create a Hearty Fish Skewer which fully recovers Link's Heart Containers, and adds a minimum of 2 Temporary Hearts in addition. Adding more Hearty items will further increase the number of Temporary Hearts.
