When Link consumes a Fire Fruit, he will regain ¼ of a heart. Link can Fuse a Fire Fruit with an arrow to create a fire arrow.

If Link cooks some in a Cooking Pot, it creates Scorching meals if not cancelled with another effect. This gives Link Hot Weather Attack, a more limited version of Attack Up which only works in hot climates. Scorching meals do not provide Heat Resistance.
