Walkthrough

Hyrule Castle is the final dungeon in Breath of the Wild. It is the longest dungeon in the game, and contains some of the most difficult enemies encountered. Hyrule Castle is one of the largest seen thus far in the Zelda series. The outside section spans a significant area, containing many pathways and sections that lead into the castle and other surrounding areas. The inner section of the castle contains many rooms and hallways. The castle is in a decrepit and ruined condition; with much of it being destroyed and covered with malice after Calamity Ganon's takeover 100 years ago.

Once Link is past the front gates, the Sheikah Slate produces a 3D map of the castle detailing its outer pathways, and once the interior is reached, the map switches to show the inner halls. The castle is the only place in Hyrule where Link cannot directly teleport from, as the map menu prompts Link to abandon the location by pressing (x), which transports Link south of the front gates. If you are in Hyrule Castle to defeat Ganon, an astonishingly large portion of the dungeon can be bypassed by using Revali's Gale if you have it. If not, you will have to take the long and hard way.

Years before the Calamity, there was a Guidance Stone that was originally located within Hyrule Castle before it was moved to its present location.[1] at the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab. The original location of the stone, as well as the castle's Travel Gate are unknown, as the only Travel Gate available in the castle is the one at the Saas Ko'sah Shrine underneath the castle at the Docks.
