Balls are enemies that appear in A Link to the Past , Four Swords Adventures, A Link Between Worlds and Tri Force Heroes.
Appearances
A Link to the Past
Balls appear as enemies early on when Link enters the Eastern Palace. Link must walk up the narrow corridor while Balls alternate on the left and right side. Link is unable to defeat the balls and must avoid them to prevent taking any damage. There are an endless amount of Balls that come out from the launch point but they will come in set intervals.
Similar enemies appear in the Desert Palace and the Palace of the Four Sword. Enemy Wall Turrets will moving along the wall and shoot similar looking balls out towards Link. These balls share all of the same characteristics as the standard balls.
Giant Ball
In addition to standard balls, occasionally a Giant Ball will come out from the launch point. In the early room within the Eastern Palace, this ball will take up the entire narrow passageway, forcing Link to take cover on one of the sides.
