Ropas are enemies that appear in A Link to the Past, Four Swords Adventures, and A Link Between Worlds.
Appearances
A Link to the Past
Ropas are one of the first enemies Link encounters when Link first goes to the Dark World. Located on the Pyramid of Power, these plant-like enemies attack by attempting to make contact with Link. They move rather slowly and don't jump too far, so they shouldn't be much trouble. They only really cause harm when they are encountered in a larger group.
Link can defeat a Ropa with two slashes from his Master Sword. If a Ropa can make contact with Link, it does two full hearts of damage.
Four Swords Adventures
A Link Between Worlds
Ropas make their third reappearance in the Nintendo 3DS game, A Link Between Worlds. In this game, Ropas are very similar to previous incarnations, apart from a slight change in color.
