"A Sheikah-made replica of the sword that seals the darkness. It was made with ancient technology to oppose the Great Calamity, but its low durability made it inefficient."

— In-Game Description[1]

The Royal Guard's Sword is a one-handed sword found in Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity, and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

The Royal Guard's Sword is part of the Royal Guard's set, along with a two-handed sword, a polearm, a bow, and a shield. It has a base power of 48 and a base durability of 14. While it has a massive base damage, its durability is very low, making it unreliable in battle. The Royal Guard's Sword features a black cross-guard with a crimson ribbon wrapped around the grip. Cosmetically, it's similar to the Royal Broadsword, with the only difference being the color scheme.

Age of Calamity

Royal Guard's Swords are a weapon type available only to Link, used with his One-Handed Weapon moveset.
