The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time features 36 heart pieces scattered across Hyrule. It takes four Pieces of Heart to form a full Heart Container, meaning there are 9 potential Heart Containers for you to find! This combined with the 3 starting heart containers, as well as the 8 heart containers obtained from completing the dungeons allows Link's total health to increase to 20 hearts.
