Water Buffaloes are animals found in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. They are the wild ancestor of the domestic Hateno Cow.

Breath of the Wild

Water Buffaloes are most prevalent in the Faron Tower region, although they can also sometimes be found in the Lanayru province, or in the Akkala Highlands. They can mostly be found grazing quietly. Water Buffaloes are slower to react than other wild animals, and may or may not charge at Link. Upon death, they drop some Raw Prime Meat or, rarely, some Raw Gourmet Meat.
