Venus, also known as the Queen of the Fairies, is a character from A Link to the Past.
A Link to the Past
Venus lives within the Pond of Happiness located on an island in the center of Lake Hylia. While at the Pond of Happiness, Link is able to toss Rupees into the pond. Each time Link has tossed 100 Rupees, Venus will appear, asking Link if he'd like to hold more bombs or arrows. Whichever he chooses, Link will be able to hold 5 more of that particular item in his inventory. Link can continue to toss money into the pond, and upgrade his bomb or arrow capacity for every hundred rupees until he has reached 50 and 70, respectively.
Venus has a fellow Great Fairy friend that lives within the Mysterious Pond at the Waterfall of Wishing. While the two appear to be on distant parts of the Overworld, they are connected by a Whirlpool Waterway located just south of the Pond of Happiness.
Venus can be seen during the ending of A Link to the Past alongside standard Fairies. It is here where she is referred to as Venus, the Queen of Fairies.
