The Li'l Devil is a character in Link's Awakening. He can be found in three different caves around Koholint Island. These locations are the Mysterious Forest, Tal Tal Mountain Range, and Martha's Bay.
If Link sprinkles Magic Powder on the brazier in the middle of these caves, the Li'l Devil will appear, complaining that he was woken from a nap.[1] To get his "revenge", he will allow Link to carry more magic powder.[2] If Link refuses, he will then offer to let him carry more bombs or more arrows.[3][4] Once Link selects an option, he gives Link increased capacity on the chosen item and also fills it up to the new limit, telling him he now has to carry extra junk.[5]
Locations
- Mysterious Forest - Underneath a rock that must be lifted with the Power Bracelet in the center of the woods, west of the Great Fairy Fountain
- Martha's Bay - In an area surrounded by bushes across a row of pits, south of the Mermaid Statue
- Tal Tal Mountain Range - Underneath a rock just south of the treasure chest at the top of the area where boulders fall down, on the western end of the mountain range
