Mutts[1] are dogs found in Link's Awakening.

Link's Awakening

Mutts are cute little animals that can be found around Mabe Village.[2] They are completely harmless to Link unless he attacks it first.[3] Once provoked, Mutt will try to bite Link, causing half a heart of damage to him if bitten, so he shouldn't harm it in order to avoid getting hurt.[4] In Link's Awakening for Game Boy and Link's Awakening DX, these dogs can be set on fire and killed if Link sprinkles some Magic Powder on them or uses the Magic Rod. In the Nintendo Switch version, they cannot be set on fire.
