Timawak Shrine

Timawak Shrine, also known as Against the Flow, is a Shrine of Light from Tears of the Kingdom.

This shrine is found just south of the Gortram Cliff in the Eldin Region.

Against The Flow

  • Walk into the room and directly in front of you there will be a river of lava with platforms made from the water spout on your left. Jump across these platforms to reach the other side.
  • There is a Soldier Construct up ahead so proceed with caution, defeating it will earn you a Strong Construct Bow.
  • Looking to the right there is another lava river with a bridge in the middle with an orb. At the end of the lava path, there is a chest. Use Recall on one of the smaller platforms to travel to the platform where the orb is located.
  • From here, simply using recall will not allow you to reach the chest. Use recall on a smaller platform, and when you are close enough, grab the chest with Ultrahand. Pull the chest closer and open it to get a Strong Zonaite Shield.
  • Travel back to the platform with the orb and make your way over to where the Construct was located and place the orb down in order to open the door.
  • Walk straight through the door, to your right there will be a fan you will need to hit in order to activate it. Once the fan has been activated use your paraglider to fly up onto the platform using the fan's gust.
  • On this platform you will find 2 Zonai Hydrants use Ultrahand to move them close to the lava, so that the water causes a platform to appear down below.
  • Grab your platform out of the lava and attach the nearby fan to it to make a raft of sorts.
  • Place your creation back into the lava, where the height of the fan should prevent it from flowing underneath you. Hit the fan to activate it and float across the lava. Progress to the altar to get the Light of Blessing.
