The Squabble River is a location in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

The Squabble River is a long snaking river which is a tributary of the Hylia River. It begins in East Necluda near the Cliffs of Quince, where it connects with the Fir River. It flows westward through the Necluda province, passing Fort Hateno and into West Necluda.

From there it passes Mount Rozudo, Bubinga Forest, the Dueling Peaks Stable, the Dueling Peaks itself, and finally the Dueling Peaks Tower. It connects with the Hylia River, just north of the Proxim Bridge. Near the Dueling Peaks Stable, the Big Twin Bridge and Little Twin Bridge both pass over parts of the Squabble River.

Due to its fast-flowing water, it is more challenging to swim across and is best traversed by creating Ice Blocks with Cryonis or gliding across from a higher distance using the Paraglider.

Water Octoroks can be found in many parts of the Squabble River, which serve more has a hindrance when Link is fighting many of the Bokoblin Camps that are situated on the riverbanks. When traveling between the Dueling Peaks, Link will encounter a pair of Green Lizalfos in the water.

Throughout the course of the river, there are several treasure chests that are on the land nearby, as well as underneath the water. For the chests underwater, Link will need to use Magnesis to pull them up to the surface. Link can find Amber, Opal, a Purple Rupee, a Soldier's Spear, and a Boomerang in treasure chests that are in and around the river.

Along the path just south of the river, near the Dueling Peaks, Link will run into Mezer. He is a traveling merchant who patrols the area on the south side of the river and occasionally crosses the Big Twin Bridge heading towards the Dueling Peaks Stable. He is a meat salesman, selling Raw Meat, Raw Prime Meat, Raw Bird Drumsticks, Raw Bird Thighs, and Rock Salt.

Near the start of the river in the Hateno Tower region, Link will find Calip in a cabin within the forest on the west side of the river. He will give Link The Cursed Statue side quest, which leads to the Kam Urog Shrine.
